While walking the dog on the 4th and 5th November this year,I saw on both occasions bright red-lighted objects on the move from northeast heading over Edinburgh in a southwesterly direction.They seemed to be traveling in pairs closing up a little as they moved.On the 5th I was returning from work and was near home at about 7:45pm and joined my wife walking the dog.She was already watching the bright red lights moving overhead two at a time and I think there was six in all.The last two seemed to get really near to one another then one of them shot off suddenly due south while the other one went on southwards.Funny thing is see no reports of these lights over these dates anywhere.Although in recent years there has been an awful lot of reports of strange lights in the skies over Lothian.

There has been lots of information coming out recently regarding odd sightings in this area;some only being revealed because of the freedom of information act.This information did not seem to be public knowledge and so it came as a sort of surprise to find that there has so much activity of that kind in this city.
