Reiki is a wonderful tool that can bridge distance and time to heal the past, the present and be sent to a future event. Reiki can be broadcast to anyone no matter where they are. They could be thousands of kilometres away or in the upstairs bedroom of your home; they could be on the other side of the veil or in your future; the Reiki Essence will find them and treat them.

In Reiki II, students are attuned to three Reiki symbols or keys. One of these keys is for distant healing. It unlocks the door for Reiki to travel beyond distance and to bridge time.

By using a photograph of the person; the practitioner sets the intent for that person to receive as much Reiki as needed. The receiver must grant permission to the practitioner to send Reiki, then the practitioner activates the distant symbol and the session begins. The receiver might feel similar sensations in his body as in a hands-on session – tingling, cold/hot, goose bumps etc… Distance sessions are usually shorter but are as powerful as hands-on sessions.

Reiki can also be sent to distant situation like Fukushima, a war; a past traumatic event or if you know you will be involved in an important situation in the future you can send Reiki to the date and time so that it will be waiting for you and for the highest good of all.

Sending the distant symbol back in ti me can help heal a trauma. Although, Reiki will not change past events, it will help with releasing the emotions and the suffering accumulated from these events.

Distant healing MUST NEVER be sent to anyone undergoing a surgery since it can affect many aspects of the surgery and even anesthetic. Reiki can safely be sent in preparation of the operation to the all the staff involved and the patient. It can also assist in the healing process afterward. This applies to people and animal.
