Reiki is the life force that exists in all things. It is a gentle energy that helps restore health, balance and harmony. It is a non-invasive healing system that can be used in conjunction with conventional medical treatment. Although it is gentle, it is also very powerful. It helps restore the well-being of the body, mind and spirit and promotes its wholeness.

The best way to discover Reiki is to book a session. Experience varies from one individual to another and even from session to session. The receiver lays fully clothed on a massage table and allows their mind to remain peaceful and to be clear of mental chatter. As the Reiki practitioner allows the Universal Life Force Energy to flow through their hands; the receiver will feel warmth, vibrations, tingling or pulsations coming from the palms of the practitioner. Reiki creates relaxation. It reduces anxiety and stress by bringing a sense of peace. It also accelerates self-healing and relieves minor pain. Reiki brings the body into a state in which it can heal itse lf.

One does not have to be ill or feeling unbalanced to benefit from Reiki. Reiki is beneficial to anyone; infant, children, elderly, plants, animals, Mother Earth, and beyond.

The flow of Reiki is limitless and comes from the universal energy field. We all have the ability to channel this energy and being attuned to Reiki amplifies this connection to the Universal Life Force Energy. The practitioner is only the channel allowing Reiki to pass through them into the receiver. The practitioner is not giving their energy, and therefore does not experience energy drain.
