Reiki and Shamanism is the perfect blend of modalities. It brings a new approach to healing; bringing harmony and balance to all sentient beings and together it provides a new level of spiritual insight and healing. Shamanism teaches us how to connect and work with the invisible realms of energy and Spirit. Shamanic healing is achieved through the practices of soul healing; using songs, nature, journeying, ceremonies, rituals and transfiguration. Reiki teaches us to channel the Universal Life Force Energy; using sacred symbols, meditation and healing attunement to heal oneself and others. The alchemy of Reiki and shamanism brings a deep healing and together helps increase the flow of energy bringing a greater sense of equilibrium into the life of the receiver.

In a Shamanic Reiki session, the practitioner or the receiver may be guided to connect with their animal guides or ancient spirits who will assist them with the healing taking place.

Traumatic events and injury leave imprints and toxic energy in our energy fields; if ignored they will move from our energy fields into our physical or emotional reality creating patterns in our lives. These imprints will control our reality and our lives until they are removed. A shamanic Reiki practitioner tracks these patterns and toxic energies that have settled into the energy fields and clear them. The fields are then repaired, sealed and recharged by the practitioner.

The receiver is active during a Shamanic Reiki session and takes charge of his or her healing by integrating, restoring a

nd nurturing the soul parts that may have been separated due to trauma or illness. Once the integration is completed, the receiver gets to write a new “map” to his/her life using new tools to create healthier habits and patterns.

A Shamanic Reiki healing is a stunning experience. It brings a level of energy that leaves the receiver feeling complete and balanced. During such a healing many have reported meeting their animal spirit guides and seeing their higher guides; some have also had powerful and life changing visions.

@Paul Faulkenham: I feel the same way after doing a Reiki session. I feel energised and have a hard time sleeping at night. I usually schedule my clients in the afternoon to be able to have a good night sleep.

I think we feel this way as we are constantly living in the "Universal Life Force Energy" or "Healing Energy" and by doing so we keep our channel clear and open.

When a client receive a session they are working at clearing and releasing blockage, energies, illness which will make them sleepy, more relaxed allowing them to go through this process in a gentle manner.

im a gentle kind hearted soul whom has just lost 2 dear loved ones in less than a month..one being my 33 yr old nephew whom we buried on Saturday...and yesterday the luvamylife left me cuz I said I was going to do a drug intervention on him..may the spirits guide me thru my suffering and heartaches and help me to overcome the obstacles I am faced with.

Any information one can gather in learning about healing is indeed a gift. Knowing how to channel one''s energy is yet another thing. It seems strange to me that when I heal others it makes them tired, they become very relaxed and yet when I heal myself, it speeds me up. Sometimes it can take as long as 24 hours before I can sleep after healing me.
